Riders, Lions clash in West showdown

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-2) and B.C. Lions (5-5) begin a crucial home-and-home series Saturday in Vancouver with playoff positioning in the CFL's West Division at stake.

The game will mark the second time the clubs have faced each other this season. Saskatchewan defeated B.C. by a score of 26-16 in Vancouver in Week 2.

The first-place Riders head into the game on a high after their dramatic 34-31 come-from-behind victory over Winnipeg last Sunday. The win gave Saskatchewan a sweep in the annual Banjo Bowl series and garnered quarterback Michael Bishop offensive player of the week honours.
